Who are we? Flourish has been leading the plant workshop movement since 2011. We’ve taught over 15,000 people how to craft beautiful terrariums, moss walls, and more - hosting events with renowned institutions like the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers, the San Francisco Botanical Gardens, and Ruth Bancroft Garden. We’ve also brought our creative team building workshops to top companies like Facebook, Google, and Airbnb, inspiring creativity in the Bay Area and beyond. We offer private group workshops for all kinds of celebrations, like birthday parties, Bat Mitzvahs, bridal showers, and wedding receptions. We make it so easy - we’ll come to you at your venue, bringing all the materials, instruction, and relaxing vibes. You just bring the happy people!

A: Our workshops are for groups of 10-75 people. Our Terrarium Bar experience is for larger groups of 50+ people.

Q: How much do workshops cost?
A: They’re the most affordable in the Bay Area! Pricing depends on location and group size, ranging from $50-80 per person for workshops and flat fees for Terrarium Bars (with travel fees to some locations. Click the “Get a Quote!” button to inquire.

Succulent Terrarium Workshop

Get ready for a hands-on, creative workshop where you'll dive into the art of designing and caring for succulents.

Collaborate with your coworkers as you choose from a wide variety of succulents, colorful pebbles, and vibrant mosses to personalize your own Orb Terrarium. We’ll provide expert guidance, care tips, and plenty of hands-on support throughout the process.

This fun and interactive workshop lasts 1.5 hours and is ideal for groups of 10-50 people. For larger groups, we suggest our Terrarium Bar.

The Terrarium Bar

Perfect for large events like weddings, private parties, happy hours, and conferences, the Terrarium Bar will delight your guests with the opportunity to build their own "tiny world." Each guest can stop by for a few minutes during your event to craft a terrarium; We give assistance, answer questions, and provide care information for the plants.

This activity is great for socializing and provides your guests with a unique favor. Our minimum pricing for a Terrarium Bar is for 5o people. For smaller groups, we suggest our Succulent Terrarium Workshop.

Moss Wall Workshop

In this workshop, you’ll create a beautiful Moss Wall that adds a touch of nature to your space without the need for ongoing plant care. It’s not alive, so you can’t kill it!

Your guests will choose from preserved materials including shades of green reindeer moss, dried flowers, and sparkling crystals. The finished moss wall can hang on a wall or sit on a flat surface, making it a versatile addition to any space.

This workshop lasts 1-1.5 hours and is ideal for groups of 10-50 people. Larger groups can be accommodated.

 

Houseplants 101

For Beginner & Intermediary Level Plant Parents

Learn the basics of keeping your indoor plants happy and thriving in our Houseplant 101 workshop! We’ll cover light, watering, soil, repotting, and easy tips for troubleshooting common plant problems—perfect for beginners and intermediate level plant people, or anyone who’s struggled to keep plants alive. You’ll leave with the confidence to care for your plants at home.

Each participant will get an easy-care houseplant and a grower’s pot, and we’ll repot our new plants during the workshop. You’ll be able to use your new knowledge to examine the root health of your plant, check for pests, and clean up any dead or damaged leaves with our expert guidance!

 

Succulents 101

For Beginner & Intermediary Level Plant Parents

Discover the secrets to growing beautiful, healthy succulents in our Succulents 101 workshop! We’ll cover how to water properly and create the perfect soil and light conditions for long-lasting success. We’ll also cover simple propagation techniques anyone can use to grow new succulents from your existing plants.

You’ll learn creative styling ideas and get hands-on experience arranging your own mini succulent garden. All supplies are provided, and you’ll head home with your custom creation.

 

Succulent Pumpkin Workshop

Celebrate the season by creating a stunning succulent pumpkin centerpiece that will brighten your home all autumn long!

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design your own succulent-topped pumpkin, while learning everything you need to know about caring for these resilient plants. We’ll ensure your succulent cuttings stay healthy, and when the pumpkin’s time has passed, you can replant the cuttings to enjoy for months or even years to come.
